The Rune Dungeon is unlocked by finding the 6 Ancient Puzzles across six islands (Starter, Jungle, Desert, Snow, Shibuya, Hueco Mundo), then spawned with a Dungeon Key. Runes have a small chance to drop from the dungeon’s NPCs — the higher the difficulty, the higher the drop chance.
